Important information to students in the 7^th grade.

Oslo public schools give talented students the opportunity to develop their skills and abilities. Oslo public schools have already established a program for ballet and music in elementary schools.  After a successful first year, we will again be offering an exciting program starting this fall 2012:

The International Bilingual program, 8^th and 9^th grade!

Students in the International Bilingual program will have the same subjects as the ordinary 8th grade. This is a bilingual class, where the students will have exams in Norwegian, but the main language of teaching will be English. In addition to these subjects, the bilingual class will focus on developing knowledge and social skills that are necessary both during their education as well as in the global job market.

This is a unique citywide program for children who will begin the 8^th grade in the fall of 2012. We would like to give the students starting the 8th grade next fall the opportunity to learn more about this exciting program. There are very few spaces left in our existing 9^th grade.

Parents and students are invited to an informative meeting about the International Bilingual program at Bjørnholt skole on April 25^th 6.30 p.m.
